At the Beach with our Signature Palm Tree

Bleu de Toi started in 2009 with the concept of the fingerprint tree, but we're always working to creatively incorporate new designs and ideas into our product line. After "branching" into signature trees with our Signature Conifer (great for rustic forest or mountain events), we came up with a design that you can take to the beach: the Signature Palm Tree!

We love the silhouette of this design in which guests sign the lines of the palm branches to create the fronds of the tree. The Signature Palm works perfectly for events with a tropical or nautical flair, and to give you some ideas for your future beach event, here are some of our favorite pins from BDT's Pinterest board "By the Sea".

An ideal palm frames this burlap wedding aisle.

We're into this palm frond wedding arch and these simple beach benches, framed by a conch-lined wedding aisle.

From right, and then clockwise: Palm leaves create an adorable wedding portrait, a table number made from mother-of-pearl buttons, a spray-painted pineapple  a driftwood/succulent centerpiece, and mussel-shell placecards.

Central Valley Bridal Show: August 17th

We're excited to participate in the Central Valley Bridal Show taking place on August 17 at the Fresno Convention and Entertainment Center. Here are some shots from the last wedding fair we did in Orange County, CA.

Attending the fair is a great opportunity to get a look at our artwork in person and get event ideas from wedding vendors all over the California area. We will be offering a discount package for onsite orders as well! We hope to see you there!

Bohemian Beauty: Peter and Kelly

Peter, our friend and fellow art major from college, and his bride Kelly had an outdoor wedding so whimsical and lovely that we are going to mainly let these pictures from V2 Photography do the talking!

Nestled in the trees at Placerita State Park near Santa Clarita, CA, this wedding was a bounty of bohemian style, from the flowing individual bridesmaids dresses to the charmingly mismatched reception chairs:

For their ceremony, Peter and Kelly created an outdoor chapel-like setting, with wooden pews and chairs, and a stunning flower arbor:

Here are some charming rustic touches: Cozy blankets for evening, handwritten place cards, watering cans lining the wedding aisle, antique milk carton decor.

Kelly and Peter also included elements that showcased their humor, like this sign with the famous quote from The Princess Bride:

We loved this fun idea: set up a "date jar" for couples to leave memories of their best dates together:

The reception boasted various themed reception tables, here from left to right: a game table, a picnic table, and a dessert table complete with old-fashioned (and useful!) pie netting.

The couple chose Bleu de Toi's Low Oak Tree guestbook to record their friends and family. We're honored to be part of this enchanting event and we loved attending! Thank you Peter and Kelly for such an inspiring wedding!

Thanks again to V2 Photography for the beautiful event pictures!
